We want to thank all the gals who participated in the "Sweet Sixteen" Trailer Stakes run off. It was great weather and a great line up of gals. For those of you who were unable to attend the Classic, don't miss next year!
(Thanks Deana for the great pictures!! If anyone has any more please forward them to tlrmshaw@cableone.net)
The CHAMPION of the trailer run off was " JENNIFER BARR" . Way to go Jennifer!
Now there were other races through out the week end. Here are some of the results from a few of the gals.
Thursday and Friday Firebird held races that had several of the Naughty gals participating in. Some gals participated in the Sportsman class, the Heavy class and the Pro class. With some who made it to the Quarters and finals.
On Thursday we had Doris Twitty and her infamous '64 Ford Fairlane; runner'd up in the No Box Gambler. Now this was a grand race, for this was Doris' first finals race since beginning her racing career. Cloud Nine, you bet!
Friday was the big day for several of the Naughty Girls.
In the No Box Hi-Roller, it was a all Naughty Girls final. Jennifer Barr and Lisa Thomas duked it out with Jennifer taking the win; by a mir' .009 of a second. WOW!!
But that's not all, in the No Box Gambler, we had Mary Liese edge her way to the semi's and Kristi Shawver; battled her way into the Quarters.
With the Halloween Classic races, Saturday was filled with several other races that the Naughty Gals have not attempted yet. For those who were lucky enough to win first round and enter the "SURVIVOR SUNDAY" we take off our braziers to you.
Remember Jennifer Barr...she took it all in the Heavy class. And Molli Wingert was nipping at her heals, but sad to say, lost in the semi's.
The Halloween Classic also has some other awards that don't require a car. We wish to congratulate Deana Bullington on her decorated Pit Spot. Her boy's had set up a small haunted house that scared a few ghouls and goblins; and the realistic Mummy...was it real or was it something else?
Another year has gone and a new one to prepare for. Gather your thoughts and practice, practice, and practice; till next April / May, when the first Club Challenge will take place.
Till Next Season..........
Another season of CLUB RACING is completed.
And the winner is:
ROSE SHAW!
Sad to say, we again have taken 3rd place. We had some great turn outs this year, but the FIRST round at most of the challenges is where we lost our points.
Our hats off to Bracket 4 and 5. They saved our tush's this year. A special gift is in store for you. For those whom choose to attend our Naughty Girls party (to be determained later this year) will receive one of our "THANK YOU" treats.
The Friendship plate was handed to Doris; who was sporting a new ride; "DORIS IN HER TAURUS" went a few rounds as well. And it was also in Bracked 5; Yahoo!
For those of you whom made the "SWEET 16" needs to confirm with Lisa as soon as possible!
Things need to be determind for the Wednesday club run off. What will you be sporting this year and how will you choose your running mate, and any other issues that may arise.
Thank you to all those whom made the "2008" season a great season. We almost did it! Next year......is a new year. Practice, focus and be prepared; to Kick some boodie in 2009!!!

Hello lovely ladies!!
Well we made it to the sweet 16 club runoff and I will try to have a get together about deciding what we want to have the 16 embroidered on this year. the #16 spot is still a tie between Stacee Waite and Krista Kirby and am trying to reach Krista at this time. Below is a list of where the top 16 finished.
Please send confirmation that you will be competing in the club runoff as soon as possible and make sure you have your pre-entries sent in with the Wednesday box marked! Stacee, I will let you know....hopefully within the next 24 hours what to do!
Congratulations ladies!
Lisa Thomas
Lets do this in style. The NAUGHTY GIRLS are at 1917 points, which is 11 points from PSI. And 175 points from Melba.
This race will also determine the "SWEET 16" . So stick around if you qualify for this race. Because your vote will count on what we choose to wear for this years Jacket or top.
As always, let Lisa know if you are going to attend this last race.
And what will be on the menu this time?
Congratulations to Courtney Alley for being this years Division 6 High School Champion!!!

Who will be the next winner of these goodies?
A high 5 to Bracket 5, they racked up 150 points; and this is to be the "BEGINNER" bracket?
The points at this time, yes, we are still in 3rd place, but with in reach of 2nd (11 points) and a possible 1st (175 points). But to accomplish this, we'll have to take out Melba and PSI, with in the first and second rounds. Any suggestions?
Our FRIENDSHIP PLATE was handed to Lynde Fischer from Jackie Page. What was it??
A bottle of Kaluha, which she loves. oooh.... Chocolate milk with a kick!
The RED light fund is growing......we have been averaging 5 red lights a club race.
The last club race is Sept. 12th.
The "SWEET 16" will be chosen after the completion of the race.
Current Standings as of Race 5 are:
| Place | Driver | Points |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Rose Shaw | 215 |
| 2 | Julie Hart | 102 |

| 4 | Sharlene Lancaster | 92 |

| 5 | Sue Reynolds | 82 |
| 6 | Doris Twitty | 65 |
| 6 | Lisa Johnson | 65 |
| 7 | Jackie Page | 62 |
| 7 | Krista Kirby | 62 |
| 8 | Mary Liese | 55 |
| 9 | Michelle Sneed | 52 |
| 10 | Lynde Fischer | 49 |
| 10 | Stacee Waite | 49 |
Alternates or could bump some one out list:
| 11 | Jackie Alley | 46 |

| 12 | Wendy Rae Rick | 45 |
| 13 | Marjorie Spindler | 42 |
| 13 | Ruth Sneed | 42 |

What will the Naughty Girls be sporting at this prestigious race on October 15th?
For those of us who are going to be at the next club race, remember it's going to be HOT!

We had a good turn out; thanks for some last calling from our prez!
For those whom will be there, shoot an email to Lisa and let her know.

And what wonderful treats will be at our table this week? If you bring something of greatness, bring the recipe and we will try and get it into the web site. The summer has been busy for all of us, including our web master. Be patient.
Start thinking about that "SWEET 16" spot, there are only 2 more races left.

GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS........We are dropping like flies! But with some late calls to some of the gals on Thursday night, Lisa mustard up 28 gals for this race, she called some wee into the night to get the roster filled. Now that's determination. Thanks for all those who did come and participate.
Congratulations to Julie Hart, she won the "Kitty" and the bag from "TASTEFUL SINSATIONS".
We had at least 5 RED lights, those of you who donated to the "Kitty" remember that at the end of the season we will draw a name out of the cup and you will get the Fund.
We want to welcome a new comer Heather Jaycox and her Mini Cooper; or the Clown Car as she has named it. She went 3 rounds before losing in Bracket #5 Way to go for your first race. WAHOO!
With the winds ranging from 5 to 14 mph made it very hard to dial. And when you thought the wind was calm, it would pick up just around the end of the bleachers and just nudge your car a bit off the beaten path. This made it even harder to dial. Those darn cross winds!
But on a serious side, we lost lots of ground to PSI. and to the Melba Out-laws. But we also gained some much needed points. We are 104 points from PSI and 91 Points from Melba, if we don't want to be in 3rd place again, we need to "FOCUS" better at the next race, which is AUGUST 1st.
We would like to thank all those who prepared the delicious salads this week:
Menu consisted of: Corn Salad, Slaw Salad, a potato crunch casserole, and a pasta salad. These recipes are needed on the web site. They were fantastic. And lets not forget those "NO" calorie desserts too, a chocolate cake with fudge frosting, Rice Crispy treats and Brownies, where's the milk when you need it!
Club race #4 right around the corner on 7-11-08. Drop me a line as soon as possible to confirm. I've already heard from a couple of you that you won't be there, so I have accepted a few new members into our group. Ok ladies, lets go kick some butt!! FOCUS and go past 1st round!!!
A huge thank you to everyone that particated in the Fox Eliminator and helped at the Naughty Girls booth! It was a huge success and I hope to make it even more successful next year! We haven't heard back from Firebird yet about the actual #'s of participants but was told that we set a new record for the most women in 1 bracket ever! Yahoo!!!
If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact me:home #895-8644 or cell#870-5152. I will return calls after 6:00 p.m. See you all there!!!
Lisa Thomas
We had 25 gals arrive, some at the last minute, and 2 new recruits;
Melissa and Lyndsey. Welcome to the Naughty Girls!
This Friday race had its ups, and downs. First off, we all battled the heat; which was in the 80's There were several sun-burns by the end of the night. Melba Out laws are still in the lead, by 150 pts and PSI is nipping at our heels, which are only 50 pts behind.

For the Fox Hunt.
Here is what we have came up with for this race.
The first round "WINNERS" will receive a little FOX! and she's really cute. A small 3" critter,
and fuzzy. Since we can not hand out "CASH" we are giving out Pre-paid VISA cards.
Semi's receive $25.00; runner up will receive $50.00 and the winner will receive $100.00.
Each entrant will receive a FOX sticker for your windshield, to signify that you are running in the
"FOX EILIMITOR"
Tasteful Sinsations is giving to the winner, of each day, a "GOODIE BAG".
If you are running in the Pro bracket or the sportsman bracket, you have permission to run both class'; with this stipulation; you only get to do your time runs in one bracket. Not both. There will be NO GUARANTEE, that the class' will not be ran close together. So, if you are in the lanes for one class, oh well. You will have to decide at that point.
We will need ladies to sit at the tent to monitor the "NAUGHTY GIRL" T-shirt sales. Lesli will have a few of her gals to help also. For she is giving away a basket of goodies.
Some Helpful "DRIVING TIPS: Don't let your emotions run your car. Focus!
NEXT CLUB RACE: JULY 11
I am adding of couple of details along with the attatchment!
Fox Hunt....we need some volunteers to work the booth, especially when the Fox Bracket is called!
I plan on having a small meeting during or after this Friday's race! It is getting more and more important to chime in if you plan to attend, our #'s are getting up there!
Lisa Thomas
Gates open at 2pm and racing at 6:30 (weather permiting)
Again, those who wish to bring a dish to share, please do. If its one of your own families favorite dish's, please let Deana know so we can get them on line for our recipe file. Still waiting for the baked beans and the fog eye salad recipes. It may be a simple family recipe, but lets pass it on. (For some of us can not cook or bake as well as others.)
By the end of the night, we had upped our points to 792 which puts us in second place. This is only 59 points out of first.
Our RED light fund also grew. We had 5 Red Lights this time.
The POT and "Naughty bag" was won again by Rose Shaw. With 3 others ladies on her heels. These Naughty bags are well worth over $100.00 and are one of the most saught after prizes this year. Thanks to Lesli N. with Tasteful Sinsation.
The FOX HUNT is coming, and coming fast. As a group, we decided to give out Visa cards for the semi's to the winner of the day. This is only in the FOX Eliminator. Along with a VERY LARGE BASKET from Tasteful Sinsation, which is going to the Winners as well.
We need volunteers to help at the NAUGHTY GIRL Tent again. If you are not racing at that time, and you can sit and fill in or help out, Let Lisa T. know. We also would like to get those who can, park their cars up at the top. We'd prefer the STREET cars, to let all know, you don't need a race car to come and have fun.
Deana, is looking into finding some Fox's to hand out to the gals who race in the Fox
Eliminator. If anyone has any idea's as to where to look, let her know.
(deana2home@msn.com
NEXT RACE: JUNE 13! It may be a Friday, but Luck is on our side!
Let Lisa know if you will be coming or not as soon as you can.
We are currently in 3 place. Now for those who are coming out, we need to focus on those
lights. We had only 3 RED lights, which is not bad, but not a good start. Last year we
averaged about 4 red lights each race. If you plan on coming out, lets get on our "FOCUSED FACE"
and be ready for the compition. Send Lisa a quick email to let all who are going to be there,
so we can get a head count.
If possible, we'd like to know who all is going to run in the Fox Hunt (June 20-21st).
Bring your girl friends from work; the neighbor hood and family members. We'd like to see
several gals coming out, and have some fun. Christine will have more information at a later
date. But lets get ready to RUMBLE!
T-Shirts are available at Lisa's trailer for those who need a new one. Lets be sure to sign
the 'SIGN IN SHEET upon arrival, and be sure to get with the other gals in your class to see
which lane everyone will be running. We don't want to run each other' except in the finals.
Did everyone see the "BIG YELLA SKOOL BUS" race at the High School race the other week?
If not, check out firebirdonline.com and click on the photo of the week. Now that's cool!
And Sue Reynolds is racing it! WAY TO GO GIRL!
Also Congratulations to Lisa Johnson for winning Alumni Bracket 1 against an always tough Ken Windley!!!
She is now in second place in Alumni by only 1 round.
SEE EVERYONE ON FRIDAY, MAY 23RD.
There were 5 or more NG's in each bracket to push the numbers up, with
bracket 3 holding the most runners, up through the final round; with Kristi
Shawver and Lynde Fischer going to the finals. As always Rose Shaw and Lisa
Thomas were strong competitors, with Rose winning in the final round
against Liana Compton from Team PSI. Way to go Rose!
The "FRIENDSHIP PLATE" was handed over to Jackie Page.
Least we forget:
NEXT RACE: MAY 23 ! Be there or be square!!!
Deana Bullington

gals out.
As we have done in the past, we always have a NG feed at each of the races.
Thanks to COOKIE and BOOKIE we are able to do this.. Bring your favorite salads, chip & dip,
brownies or any other great treats. We have never turned down a hungry racer. Let it be know,
after 1st round, we start dinner.
And last but not least, PARKING!
Last year we did awesome, we need to continue our NAUGHTY GIRL corner. Just like last year,
try and park along with Lisa and Troy 's area. We know some of you gals have a paid pit spot
on the front, try and help with parking around Lisa and Troy's area. If you have caution cones
or chairs to set up, that would be great. If you get to the track early, please try your best
to occupy the row and corner across from Lisa and Troy's trailer. The rules are, first come,
first to occupy.
'We would like to send out a HUGE "THANK YOU" to our supporters.'
